A key aspect of this role will see you responsible for producing the month end financials and forecast for your assigned business area; providing value add analysis and insights to key stakeholders in order to support informed decisions. Utilising excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to build relationships across the business that will greatly assist in understanding data and developing awareness of key business initiatives and their impact on the financial results.  Strong communication skills coupled with a desire to continuously improve tools and processes will establish you as a reliable partner to your stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Monthly and quarterly management reporting and performance analysis (including dashboards and variance analysis), ensuring the delivery of insightful commentary to support the delivery of business targets and initiatives
  • Value add analysis to support executive leadership teams
  • Development and ownership of annual budgets and rolling 12 month forecast, ensuring the integrity of inputs, calculation of outputs and insightful financial models for forecasting and budgeting
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to analyse and drive results
  • Seeking and driving continuous improvement to current FP&A activities  and tools
  • Development of improved metrics for reporting to senior management
  • Preparation of Financial Presentations for senior management
  • Providing ad-hoc analytical support to senior management as required.
  • Participation in various ad hoc projects such as system implementations

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Strong accounting background (Chartered background desirable. Minimum 3 years experience)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Excel essential
  • Experience in SAP, Analysis for Office and  SAP BPC desirable

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on experience.
