An exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant has become available within the Corporate Buying eCommerce team, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full time role.


This role will be focussed on Digital Services, including but not limited to ALDImobile and Gift Cards. 


What we are looking for:

Our Digital Services Buying Assistants work within a fast paced, highly administrative and ever changing environment.  The ability to meet deadlines, be adaptable and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships is essential for success in this role.


We are looking for a passionate, engaged individual who is willing to develop and enhance ALDI’s Digital Service function.  Candidates with prior experience in telecommunications, digital services and online retail will be highly regarded.


Selection criteria:

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities   
  • Ability to handle high stress situations
  • Comprehensive administrative experience
  • 2 + years’ experience within Buying is highly regarded and graduate applicants are also welcome
  • Experience in liaising and building strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to learn new programs and processes
  • High level of professionalism and dedication
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work autonomously

Role responsibilities:

  • Ensure project milestones are tracked
  • Co-ordinate new product development for ALDImobile
  • Run weekly and monthly stock and sales reports
  • Liaise and build strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues
  • Assist with artwork design
  • Monitor stock deliveries
  • Brief and co-ordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain confidential partner and supplier records
  • Assist the eCommerce Director in administrative requirements

This role reports to the eCommerce Director
