An exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Analyst has become available within the Corporate Buying eCommerce team, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full time role.

 

This newly created role will be responsible for the eCommerce channel for ALDI Australia, specifically focussing on Special Buys.

 

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have the ability to collect, sort and maintain data to create the foundation for the eCommerce business strategy. They will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated aptitude in providing business insights and managing processes end to end. Candidates with prior experience in online retail will be highly regarded.

 

Selection criteria:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in strategy development and execution
  • Experience converting data into meaningful insights (including data visualisation)
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
    • SQL and VBA highly desirable
  • Capacity to manage high stress situations and adapt as required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior management
  • Ability to understand new and existing programs and processes
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work autonomously

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of the eCommerce strategy
  • Create new processes and execute roll outs
  • Provide meaningful insights through various data sources
  • Recommend new processes and procedures based on data insights
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support our Special Buys program
  • Engage and on-board various stakeholders to deliver goals
  • Compile financial forecast reports
  • Present insights to senior management
  • Review pricing, mark-downs and costs
  • Manipulate existing reports to provide required insights
  • Continual process improvement

 

This role reports to the eCommerce Buying Manager.
