An exciting new opportunity to join the eCommerce team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full time role.

 

As an Online Product and Service Manager, you will be responsible for product/service innovation, development and execution for our online platform. In this role you will support the eCommerce Director in new business development from pitching ideas to launch as well as growing the ALDImobile business.

 

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced leader who has previously launched innovative product/service offerings using their stakeholder engagement skills to ensure success. You will be highly efficient in managing multiple project deliverables and meeting sales targets. 

 

Selection criteria:

  • Minimum 2+ years leadership with 3-5 years’ experience in online product/service development
  • Tertiary education highly desirable
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience launching and growing online products/service offerings
  • Ability to establish, develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Previous experience with effective negotiation 
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • High level of professionalism and dedication

Role responsibilities:

  • Perform online market analysis and make subsequent recommendations
  • Enhance existing online product and service offerings
  • Develop business cases for innovative product/service opportunities
  • Ensure the successful execution and management of multiple online projects concurrently
  • Track project milestones to ensure high performance  
  • Monitor ongoing sales and financial performance results
  • Implement operational process improvement initiatives
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including third party providers
  • Manage a team and contribute to their professional development

 

This role reports to the eCommerce Director.
