An exciting new opportunity to join the AHEAD Assortment Deployment team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This role is a 2 year secondment.


As a Deployment Manager, you will be instrumental in managing the Australian deployment of the relevant sub stream solution delivered by AHEAD. In this role you will be responsible for process optimisation and project implementation. You will lead and motivate a team of high performers and solve business challenges.


What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong understanding of ALDI Buying processes and systems. You will be an adaptable and resilient self-starter who demonstrates initiative and is able to manage and influence stakeholders, which will include international conference calls outside of regular business hours.  


Selection Criteria:

  • Strong ALDI Buying experience essential
  • Experience with internal ALDI systems essential
  • Experience leading a team highly regarded
  • Ability to develop, implement and maintain new processes and systems
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Confidence to drive Australian business needs, whilst considering international alignment
  • Experience with SAP programs favourable
  • Proven project management experience
  • High level of business acumen with excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly in Excel
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to adapt in fast paced environments
  • Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and influence process improvement and project management initiatives
  • Ensure timelines, budget and project milestones are adhered to
  • Lead a team and contribute to their professional development
  • Manage the deployment of the relevant sub stream for AHEAD
  • Effectively influence, manage and collaborate with stakeholders  
  • Manage BAU activities whilst planning deployment of the new systems
  • Implement effective change management initiatives and drive strategy
  • Plan and execute user acceptance testing and end user training
  • Undertake risk management, including reporting on readiness status


This role reports to the Director - Buying Administration.
