An exciting new opportunity to join the Buying Administration team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full time role.


As the SAST Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, monitoring and maintenance of all business partner master data, in order to centralise the supplier lifecycle process. In this role you will lead and influence process improvement and project management initiatives, allowing for greater business efficiency.


What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the ALDI supplier lifecycle. You will be a confident self-starter who takes a structured approach to driving business improvements and meeting project milestones. With excellent communication skills, you will effectively engage, manage and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.


Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in Buying preferred  
  • Experience leading a team highly regarded
  • Proven experience engaging, managing and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated understanding of the ALDI supplier lifecycle
  • Experience with internal ALDI systems highly regarded e.g. CBIS and IPAC
  • Exposure to ALDI supplier lifecycle global template preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Ariba
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Creative and positive mindset, with the initiative to maximise impact

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and organisational support in order to effectively lead a team  
  • Create, monitor and maintain business partner master data
  • Oversee supplier compliance and data maintenance
  • Drive supplier related business improvements and project initiatives
  • Centralise and streamline the end-to-end supplier lifecycle
  • Conduct independent checks in accordance with legal requirements
  • Effectively engage, manage and collaborate with stakeholders  
  • Manage supplier reporting and data analysis   


This role reports to the Director - Buying Administration.
