National IT Specialist - Finance and Administration 12 Month Contract

This is a full time 12 month fixed-term contract with the view to extend.

We a looking for an IT professional with a systematic, innovative approach. Prior experience within the IT industry is a must as well as a high level of technical knowledge, especially with application support. Our team work together in a fast paced environment so you'll need to be comfortable with change, and capable of adapting to any problem at any time.

You will be responsible for: 

• Supporting our business users with financial application support
• Streamline operational processes within the organisation
• Managing/Handling international calls/queries outside of business hours
• Training business users on new features that are introduced with application updates
• Supporting the development, deployment and coordination of National IT initiatives
• Coordinating external and international IT consultants to ensure they are effectively utilised
• Actively manage area of responsibility by using initiative, suggesting ways of improving
  systems for greater efficiency
• Ensuring appropriate systems are in place to maintain data integrity and security

Selection Criteria:

• Systematic, innovative approach to IT
• Attentive to detail
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Software testing experience
• Great customer service and time management
• Previous experience in project work and project coordination
• Project management and SAP experience would be highly regarded

*Includes superannuation and is dependent on ALDI experience.
