Market leading remuneration - $73,000 - $84,000* Being part of a leading international retailer High levels of autonomy and responsibility 5 weeks annual leave Key responsibilities of the role include: Support the National Supply Chain Manager in a professional and efficient manner Prepare, calculate and provide advice on freight costing options Analyse data to assist with preparation of freight metrics Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement Communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders Coordinate freight invoicing to ensure timely payment to business partners Use initiative to control, manage and continually improve the quality and efficiency of work in his/her area of responsibility Ensure the efficient processing of information/data and support across all job functions Ensure the efficient flow of correspondence and information, both incoming and outgoing, with external and internal parties Ensure all correspondence is treated in the strictest confidence Ensure the accuracy of all job functions Work as an effective team member to the National Supply Chain Manager. Refer to the National Supply Chain Specialist for specialist knowledge required in completing role Be a constructive team member in the National Supply Chain Department The successful candidate will possess: Experience in Supply Chain operations or Domestic Freight would be highly regarded to assist with the efficient coordination and movement of ALDI controlled freight Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook High level of professionalism, dedication and a positive attitude Outstanding organisational and time management skills Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to take on responsibility, work autonomously and be a team player Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and high attention to detail*Includes superannuation and is dependent on ALDI experience.
