This role reports to the Corporate Logistics Manager - Service Provider Management and supports the Corporate Logistics Department. This is a Permanent Full Time role, based in Minchinbury.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Identify supply chain cost saving opportunities and develop operational plans for implementation  
  • Prepare and Conduct periodical review with ALDI logistics service providers and ensure KPI’s are at a high level of service
  • Conduct logistics  service  provider  audits  in  relation  to  movement  of  consignments
  • Identify freight diversion opportunities
  • Analyse, create reports and data accuracy
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with logistics service providers
  • Liaise with the regions to ensure timely and efficient information flow
  • Develop and maintain a register of domestic and international freight rates ensuring information is current
  • Obtain and verify transport rates from logistics service providers to determine market rates for specific lanes
  • Work in accordance with the principles of the ALDI Management System

Desired Criteria:

  • Domestic Australian Rail and Road Logistics Experience
  • Logistics/Supply Chain Operations Experience
  • Effective communication and training skills
  • Resource planning and implementation
  • Proficiency in problem solving and “thinking outside the box”
  • Current ALDI experience will be highly considered


*Includes superannuation and is dependent on ALDI experience.
