There are two exciting new opportunities to join the eCommerce team available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. These are permanent full time roles.

 

As an eCommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Manager - eCommerce in developing financial and business reports in order to optimise sell through, determine opportunities to improve efficiency and report on profit and loss. In this role you will focus on delivering actionable insights utilising data from various sources that will result in increased profit and improved customer experience.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment and possess strong numerical and analytical skills. With a passion for eCommerce, you will be an outcome driven individual with a keen eye for detail and an ability to meet competing deadlines. Candidates with an understanding of eCommerce and online retail will be highly regarded.

 

Selection criteria:

  • 4+ years’ experience within relevant fields
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining financial/business reports
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate and convert data into meaningful insights
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to adapt to an evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to perform consistently under high pressure situations
  • Able to work autonomously and proactively identify trading opportunities
  • High level of professionalism and dedication

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain sales and financial reporting
  • Extract and collate data from various data sources to provide insights
  • Analyse and assess the performance of products, categories, warehousing efficiency, site traffic and conversion rates, in order to determine strategic recommendations and outcomes
  • Provide a range of reports to the eCommerce team and other key stakeholders
  • Support eCommerce team numerical and analytical project needs

 

These roles report to the Executive Manager - eCommerce.
