An opportunity for an IT Specialist has become available within the ALDI National IT Logistics team, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Our IT Specialists - Logistics ensure system uptime, data integrity and actively drive changes, which support our National Logistics and Transportation Operational teams. The successful candidates will have strong organisational, analytical and effective communication skills that delivers benefits to your stakeholders.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Monitor, review, troubleshoot and document all application related incidents and queries using ServiceNow ticketing system 
  • Coordinate and actively partake in test and release management activities for applications supported by National IT Logistics team
  • Conduct training sessions for existing and new teams’ members to efficiently use Aldi’s bespoke applications
  • Manage and lead small to medium sized projects for the IT Logistics team
  • Provide emergency after hours support for business-critical functions on a week-on-week rotating roster

Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience providing troubleshooting and application test support
  • Intermediate VBS skills and MS Office skills are essential 
  • Excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven experience in supporting warehouse staff
  • Previous experience with Manhattan WHS and/or SAP TMS
  • C#, Java and basic understanding of SQL or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience is desirable
  • Ability to be on call after hours on a rotational basis
