Property Assistant - ALDI South Australia

  • Part -time, permanent role
  • Based in Regency Park

A vacancy now exists for an experienced assistant to join the ALDI South Australia Property Team. The position is part-time (22.8 hours per week) with flexible work arrangements negotiable. 

The team that you will support focus their efforts on real estate, construction and management of the ALDI store network in South Australia.

The role

You will be responsible for supporting the Property Team with regard to general real estate and construction related administration and coordination.

The role will see you engage with varying levels of internal and external parties therefore exceptional communication and presentation skills will be a non-negotiable prerequisite for this position.

You will be responsible for processing invoices and maintaining control of documentation, related to property and construction. You will also need to produce timely and accurate reports in line with internal and external reporting requirements.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the Property Team
  • Assisting in the maintenance and preparation of correspondence, documents and reports including general document /data base management
  • Ensuring all correspondence is treated in the strictest of confidence
  • Providing support to the project management activities relating to new store delivery and other existing store network initiatives
  • Providing general administration services, including the receipt, review and processing of construction and real estate related invoicing
  • Liaising with external service providers

Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years administration experience preferably in a real estate and/or construction related environment
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects
  • Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
  • Superior problem solving ability
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills

*Includes superannuation.
