A new and unique opportunity for a Workers Compensation Project Lead has become available within our National Payroll Team of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury.  This role is full time 18-month contract opportunity.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end process improvement for the National Workers Compensation Payroll process
  • Project Manage the centralisation for the National Workers Compensation Payroll process, applying expert project management principals
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on workers compensation related processes, legislation, and end to end payroll processes
  • Lead a team of Workers Compensation Payroll Assistants, supervising BAU activity, responding to escalated matters and facilitating personnel development
  • Ensure all relevant internal stakeholders are provided timely updates regarding project updates and timelines
  • Act as a conduit between Payroll and Safety teams for process related changes and enhancements

Selection criteria:

  • 2 years of Workers Compensation Case Management experience
  • Expert Project Management experience
  • Prior experience in people leadership and personnel development
  • Fluent understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Proven ability to manage a team with both projects and BUA activity
  • Solve Injury experience desirable
  • Ability to travel interstate, where required
