An exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Customer Service team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to be made permanent.

                                                   

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage complaints and identify improvement opportunities to effectively resolve customer problems and ensure customer retention
  • Review Customer Service Department guidelines and processes
  • Develop and recommend systems and processes that will improve the quality of service to ALDI’s internal and external customers
  • Coordinate end-to-end projects related to customer service
  • Provide monthly reporting and analytics on performance and project tracking
  • Use data and insights to make recommendations on optimization and process improvements
  • Encourage, develop, train, and motivate employees to reach their full potential 
  • Manage day to day workload of the team, allocating team members to optimise service provision and operational support across the hours of operation
  • Ensure that Customer Service team and team members achieve their performance targets
  • Maintain a complete understanding of department systems and processes

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in e-Commerce operations
  • Previous leadership experience in a frontline customer service team.
  • Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated experience in motivating and engaging staff to create a positive, committed and productive team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
  • Exceptional stakeholder collaboration and management skills and confidence to work with varying levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and logical skills
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate and contribute to team success
  • Intermediate - advance Microsoft Office skills

 

*This role reports to the Executive Manager - Customer Service.
