We have multiple roles available for Recruitment Assistants in the Operational Recruitment team within our National Finance and Administration department (HR), based in Minchinbury.  This is a permanent full-time role.

The recruitment team is expanding to provide recruitment support services to both Store Operations and Logistics nationwide as part of the rollout of centralised recruitment. As we say, “at ALDI, our people are the key to our success” and you will play a pivotal role in this by assisting to recruiting the right talent into our business as part of this exciting rollout.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
  • Strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities within a Retail, FMCG or Supply Chain environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and comprehension skills
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct recruitment briefs with Hiring Managers in Store Operations and Logistics to understand headcount requirements and candidate profile for stores and distribution centres  
  • Identifying top talent for these departments
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, posting job advertisements, screening applications, phone interviewing, scheduling interviews, providing application outcomes to candidates, coordinating on-boarding documentation
  • Maintain and update position and candidate files via the applicant tracking system (PageUp)
  • Assist in providing guidance to Hiring Managers during the recruitment process
  • Communicate timely updates to Hiring Manager on the progress of their vacant position
