An opportunity for an IT Specialist has become available within the ALDI National IT Supply Chain team, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to expand their application testing and release management experience into real-time business system solutions. This role will ensure system uptime, data integrity and actively driving changes and projects which support our National Supply Chain department.

What does the role look like?

  • Providing level 2 support for National Supply Chain applications using ServiceNOW
  • Coordinating and actively partake in test and release management activities for applications supported by National IT Supply Chain
  • Performing root cause analysis related to incident management
  • Receiving and coordinating application change requests using Service NOW ticketing system
  • Coordinating and liaising with Business Partners
  • Provide afterhours support for business-critical functions based on a week-on rotating roster, approximately one in every 8 weeks.

 A bit about you:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end application lifecycle management
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be on call after hours on a rotational basis approx. one in every 8 weeks.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of SQL and VBA is highly desirable
  • Previous experience with SAP ERP, SAP Forecasting and Replenishment and SAP CAR is highly desirable
  • Understanding of retail supply chain is highly desirable
  • ITIL certification is highly desirable
