Technical Support Specialist

An opportunity for a Specialist has become available within the ALDI National IT Assortment team, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will be responsible for:

• Create and provide relevant reporting as per management’s requirement using SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Provide level 2+ support for our bespoke applications using Service NOW ticketing system
• Coordinate and actively partake in release management activities including UAT testing
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve application support issues
• Conduct reviews and provide process improvement recommendations on operational processes across ALDIs national departments 
• Work closely in collaboration with internal, external, and international business units to support process changes
• Assist and coordinate various projects to deliver an enhanced user experience

Selection Criteria

• Previous experience in end-to-end application support, including effective UAT practices. Retail assortment is highly regarded.
• Prior knowledge of product and/or application lifecycle
• SQL database knowledge and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to adapt particularly in high stress situations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)
• High level of professionalism and dedication
• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Ariba, Informative P360, JIRA or equivalent is highly regarded

*This role reports to the Executive Manager - IT.
