A new opportunity for a Corporate Responsibility (CR) Specialist has become available working in the Corporate Responsibility team within the Buying department of ALDI Stores.

The CR Specialist role liaises with various stakeholders, both internal and external. The role comes with responsibility and autonomy for the topics surrounding the resources used to produce our products. This may include topics such as sustainable palm oil, forestry, packaging, cocoa, coffee, tea and animal welfare. Working on complex situations across differing markets around the globe means that research and analysis form the basis for success. Tackling challenging supply chain hurdles with the goal of increasing ALDI’s sustainable practices means that the personal satisfaction for a job well done is powerful.


What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability topics. They will have the ability to research, analyse and communicate information to all levels. Candidates with a background in buying and building strong stakeholder relationships are encouraged to apply!


Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in buying and building strong stakeholder relationships is highly regarded
  • Knowledge/understanding of complex supply chain resource topics
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to apply sustainability principles and concepts in a business environment
  • Ability to conduct research on emerging resource trends, and the risks and opportunities they create for the business
  • Intermediate Excel skills and be IT literate
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to learn new programs and processes
  • High level of professionalism and dedication
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work autonomously

Role Responsibilities:
