Based in Minchinbury, this position will see the successful applicant reporting to the ALDI Academy Manager and will provide an excellent opportunity to work for a growing global retailer in a national role.

We are searching for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant / Recruitment Marketing Specialist to help us drive top talent to our company via modern and innovative recruitment marketing strategies.

In this new role, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the hiring managers to find high calibre candidates, by developing and executing recruitment and talent strategies including; various recruitment campaigns, sourcing talent on social media and growing talent pools.

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing the national recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants
  • Creating and implementing strategies for building talent networks
  • Creating and managing both national and targeted recruitment campaigns for roles across the business
  • Overseeing the ALDI Careers website and other digital ALDI recruitment pages
  • Extracting recruitment data and statistics to measure performance of recruitment campaigns and strategies
  • Identifying the tactics and platforms that will be most effective in reaching a specified target audience
  • Preparing monthly reports on key recruitment KPI metrics
  • Consulting with Hiring Managers to identify talent needs and developing creative ways for addressing recruitment challenges
  • Suggesting new ideas for improving candidate experience and engagement
  • Creating artwork for various advertising materials and channels
  • Researching marketing and advertising trends in the recruitment industry
  • Keeping abreast of new trends in social media channels
  • Coaching Hiring Managers in the use of recruitment systems and processes
  • Continually developing and improving recruitment and attraction processes, systems and practices

What we are looking for:

  • Previous working experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a minimum of 2 years
  • In-depth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment market
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with leaders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions
