The HR Systems & Analytics Manager oversees a newly centralised team of system and data analysts that are responsible for ALDI’s HR systems, HR reporting and HR analytics. This role is pivotal in the continuous improvement of our HR Systems. Reporting to the HR Director this role is located in our Corporate Head Office in Minchinbury, Western Sydney.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the maintenance, configuration and testing of all HR systems to satisfy business requests for fixes, changes, enhancements and compliance.
  • Maintaining data integrity across all HR systems via routine audit reporting and collaboration with HR teams to implement process improvements as needed. 
  • Managing all HR system vendor relationships and tracking vendor performance against agreed service levels. 
  • Overseeing all HR system projects to ensure that business objectives, compliance requirements, user acceptance, budgets and timelines are achieved.
  • Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders during HR systems projects and upgrades. Partnering extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business requirements are documented, configured, tested and implemented.
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date HR system documentation and standard operating procedures and liaising with the Academy team to design system training where required.
  • Working with Internal Communications to communicate system changes and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establishing a strategy and roadmap for the optimisation of HR systems with a focus on driving automation and integration where possible to provide business efficiencies and a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify HR reporting requirements across the business and creating reporting that is accurate, timely and efficient.
  • Providing actionable insights to business questions/challenges through the analysis of large, complex data sets.
  • Building awareness of analytics solutions and best practices in order to expand data-driven business decisions.
  • Establishing a team culture of high performance, professionalism and continuous improvement that identifies opportunities and solutions to improve business outcomes.

What we’re looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing and implementing HR systems such as Payroll, Learning, Performance, Recruitment, Succession, Safety, Contractor Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action and decision-making at an executive level; preferably this experience will be HR-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to frame analytic findings in a digestible and business friendly format that identifies key business implications.
  • In depth knowledge of end-to-end HR and payroll processes, HR data, HR systems structure and design.
  • Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated experience in motivating and engaging staff to create a positive and productive team environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects, managing project governance, stakeholder management, oversight of teams, resource planning, risk management and timeline development.
  • An individual with a positive, inclusive and collaborative approach to work.

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on ALDI experience
