As a result of an internal promotion, a vacancy now exists for an experienced Personal Assistant to join the ALDI Regency Park Property Team. The team that you will support focus their efforts on store development on both leasehold and freehold sites.

 The role

You will be responsible for one on one support to the Property Director to ensure the smooth running of his/her day which will include a high level of diary and email management including coordination of appointments and travel arrangements. The role will see you engage with varying levels of internal and external parties therefore exceptional communication and presentation skills will be a non-negotiable prerequisite for this position. You will maintain an overview of the Director’s property portfolio, process property invoices and maintain control of all property related documentation including the management and scheduling of date critical contractual obligations such as rent reviews and lease renewals. You will also produce timely and accurate reports in line with internal and external requirements.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Maintaining an overview of the Director's portfolio of work in order to be able to provide input and be involved in daily decisions
  • Providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the Director
  • Assisting in the creation and preparation of correspondence, documents and reports
  • Ensuring all correspondence is treated in the strictest of confidence
  • Undertaking project management activities
  • Providing administration services, including; filing, photocopying and archiving
  • Liaising with external service providers

Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years administration experience supporting a senior manager, preferably in the FMCG environment
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects
  • Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivator
  • Superior problem solving ability
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience using Microsoft Office
