An opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist working in the Quality Assurance team has become available within the Corporate Buying Department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury.

The Supplier Quality Specialist is a new role supporting day to day supplier quality functions and projects.

 

What we are looking for:

The Supplier Quality Specialist will be required to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of supplier testing requirements to ensure external compliance. They will have experience in supplier relationship management and have worked within a manufacturing environment. Candidates with auditing experience and certifications are highly regarded.

 

Role responsibilities:   

  • Work with Buying teams to ensure suppliers have completed required testing
  • Support the annual general testing requirements
  • Follow up relevant supplier certifications such as GFSI
  • Follow up supplier non-conformances
  • Work with suppliers to ensure corrective and preventative action requests are implemented
  • Support the Supplier On-boarding program
  • Assist with the Supplier Approval and Audit programs
  • Perform other required duties within the Quality Assurance team

Selection criteria:

  • Degree or Diploma in relevant field is highly regarded
  • Experience in supplier assurance/compliance
  • Demonstrated experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of supplier testing requirements
  • Detailed understanding of quality standards, GMP, HACCP and GFSI
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian regulations
  • Effective communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with regulatory agencies
  • Experienced in technical investigation and report writing
  • Collaborative and inclusive working style

 

This role reports to the Supplier Quality Manager.
