Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Safety department of ALDI Stores, based in Prestons. This is a permanent full time opportunity.

This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Safety Department. This is a rewarding role with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, managing multiple stakeholders, and working in a fast-paced environment.

What does the role involve?

  • Assist in the management of work-related injuries which includes the use of WHS IT systems
  • Coordinate and provide guidance on Injury Management activities
  • Liaise, consult, and meet with relevant stakeholders, e.g.: injured workers, treating practitioners, insurer, and regulator where applicable
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training, and development
  • Actively manage your area of responsibility by using initiative, suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
  • Ensure ALDI is compliant with all current legislative obligations and engaging in best practice injury management

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 2 years) in injury management with a portfolio of claims
  • Knowledge of Injury Management practices and/or work, health and safety best practice and legislation
  • Experience with reporting and Injury Management Claims Systems
  • Sound knowledge of NSW Worker Compensation Legislation, and Self-insurance experience
  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel and Microsoft office skills
  • Previous experience with SolvInjury and/or SafetyOnline is highly regarded

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $110,884 - $132,200 (including superannuation)
