Join a team that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and be part of projects that drive real change as an Application Development Analyst. This is a Permanent full-time position, based in Minchinbury.
 
The successful candidate will be a confident python programmer, experienced in manipulating large sets of data and mining insights. The candidate will also work with the Application Development team to integrate data into applications. A solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming, SQL and Excel VBA are imperative, and experience with C# and the retail landscape are desirable.

What does the role look like? 

• Work with business stakeholders to scope, develop and implement data products and applications to support business processes.
• Utilising Excel VBA to integrate data into systems and tools.
• Provide key business insights by data mining and data manipulation.
• Clean and aggregate data to create visualisations (e.g. charts), to effectively communicate information to internal stakeholders.
• Spearhead the implementation of automated measures to ensure seamless data quality, detecting and correcting issues in real-time.

What do we need from you?

• Ability to manipulate and mine data using Python
• Understanding of Design/Object Oriented Programming and data modelling
• Strong competency in SQL and Excel VBA
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to relevant business stakeholders
• Exposure to C# or F# is highly desirable
