The Recruitment Process
Step 1
Application
Search the diverse range of jobs on our ALDI careers website. See something you like? Submit your application online.
Step 2
Phone / Video Interview
A recruiter will review your application and resume and if your application is successful your recruiter will invite you to either a phone or video interview. You'll be asked a few questions to determine your suitability for the role.
Step 3
Interview with Hiring Manager
If you're successful you'll be invited to a group or one-on-one interview with a Hiring Manager. At this stage you will also be invited to complete a medical assessment.In your interview don't forget to wow us with your work ethic, drive and passion to work at ALDI.
Step 4
Interview outcome
We know that waiting for an outcome is a bit nerve wracking. That's why you'll hear back from us with an outcome of your interview, as soon as possible, whether you are successful or not. If successful at this stage you'll receive an offer.
Step 5
Offer
Well done on receiving an offer. At this stage you will need to login to the candidate portal and complete the onboarding requirements. This will include filling out some forms and uploading documents. If your recruiter tells you that you require an RSA, you will need to obtain this before your onboarding can be completed
Step 6
Getting ready for your first day!
Congratulations on successfully getting a role at ALDI. Your Manager will contact you directly to provide you details about your first day on the job. You'll also receive some emails from us to help you prepare for your first day. Welcome to the ALDI team!

If my application is successful, am I required to obtain an RSA?
In certain stores you will need a valid RSA (excluding QLD and SA stores). Your Recruiter will let you know if your store requires one. Whether you currently have one or will need to get one, our recruitment team will support you the whole way!
How can I apply for a position in an ALDI store?
You want to work at ALDI? Excellent! To search and apply for our vacant roles, please visit the Jobs page found at the top of our careers website. Once you have found a role you are interested in applying for, click 'Apply' and follow the prompts.
Can I email my application?
We are progressing as a business and so is our technology! Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we ask all applicants to apply online so each application can be reviewed thoroughly.
I have applied for an ALDI position and have not received an update on my application. What should I do?
After you have submitted your application, one of our Recruiters will be in touch in the coming days to advise you of next steps or of your application outcome. This can be done via phone or email. You can also check the status of your application by visiting the Candidate Portal link.

Oh no - not to worry! We can provide you with your interview details. Please contact the Recruiter directly or email recruitment@aldi.com.au. We will do our best to assist you and help provide your interview information again.

You got to interview stage - that's great! If you are unable to attend your phone, group, or one-on-one interview at the specified time, please reply to your email invitation. If additional timeslots are available or further interviews are taking place, the Recruiter will contact you directly to reschedule.

Will I receive feedback on my application or an explanation on why I have been unsuccessful?
We would love to provide individual feedback on all applications, however due to the large volume of applications we receive, unfortunately this is not possible. If you have attended an interview, your Recruiter may provide more detailed feedback on your application.

I would like to withdraw my application but keep my profile, what steps do I take?
We're sad to see you withdraw, but in the case a position is no longer for you, you can withdraw your application by using the following steps:
- Log into online application portal using this link.
- Click on the application you would like to withdraw and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Next locate the 'Manage my data' section and click into the drop down.
- Under 'I would like to...', select 'Withdraw my application'.
- Read through the acknowledgements and tick the box.
- Click 'Yes I would like to withdraw my application' to finalise your choice.
- After clicking this, your selected application/s will be removed from our system.
I would like to delete my profile on your applicant portal, what steps do I take?
If you would like to remove your profile altogether, you can do so by using the following steps:
- Log into online application portal using this link.
- On the main page, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Next, locate the 'Manage my data' section and click into the drop down.
- Under 'I would like to...', select 'Delete my profile'.
- Read through the acknowledgement and tick the box.
- Click 'Yes I would like to delete my profile' to finalise your choice.
- After clicking this, your profile will be permanently removed from our system along with your past and current applications. This process cannot be undone. You will need to create a new application to open a new account in the event you reapply for any roles at ALDI.

Can you tell me when you will be hiring for a specific location or new store?
All ALDI vacancies are listed on our careers website. If you are unable to find the role or location you are looking for, we may not be hiring for that store currently. To be notified when we start hiring for the store you are interested in, sign up to Job Alerts.

Does ALDI sponsor candidates for positions within stores?
Unfortunately, ALDI does not offer sponsorships. All candidates must have full working rights to apply for ALDI Australia jobs.
