About the Role

A new and exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant within the Digital Services team has become available within our National Buying department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Our Digital Services team are responsible for services including ALDI Mobile, ALDI Gift Cards, ALDI Insurance.

  • Assisting the Digital Services Manager in end-to-end category management processes
  • Work with suppliers to procure, develop and prioritise consumer offers that exceed industry benchmarks
  • Present consumer offer recommendations to Digital Services Manager and/or Digital Services Director
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to support a range of category deliverables
  • Assist in problem solving and process issues for relevant digital service offerings
  • Deliver on project initiatives and deadlines
  • Actively plan and forecast product availability
  • Provide administrative support to the team associated with programs and projects to ensure successful execution

What do we need from you

  • Demonstrated experience in a Buying Assistant (or similar) role
  • Reporting and analysis experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Ability to adapt in a fast moving and agile environment
  • Ability to learn new programs, systems, and processes.
