About the Role

We currently have multiple office assistant opportunities available to join the Produce Buying team within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. These include 12-month fixed-term opportunities.

The Produce team are responsible for sourcing high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables while ensuring optimal pricing and availability. They also oversee inventory management and supplier relationships to maintain consistency in product offerings.

What does the role look like?

  • Oversee contract maintenance and ensure timely product set-up.
  • Manage supplier communications effectively to foster strong relationships.
  • Generate reports as required including assembly of reporting packages for the Produce team
  • Manage and coordinate product samples for weekly sampling.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle email correspondence and relevant administrative tasks efficiently.

What do we need from you

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrated previous experience in an administrative position
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities 
  • Ability to problem solve and use initiative 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel
  • Proven demonstration of accuracy of work and attention to detail
  • Ability to take on responsibility, work autonomously and be a team player

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $76,800 - $84,300 including Superannuation
