Grow your career with a global retailer as a Consumer PR Coordinator within our Communications team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a 12 - month fixed-term opportunity.
ALDI Australia has a strong reputation for providing consumers with high quality products at affordable prices and values integrity, transparency and creativity. From amplifying our cult Special Buys, to campaign activations, issues management and creative brand storytelling, the right person for this role will have a great grasp on culture, understand tone, have clear and creative writing skills and understand the importance of message and channel. The Consumer PR Coordinator will use a series of tools, channels and tactics to share ALDI’s stories with its current and future customers.
The role requires exceptional storytelling ability, creativity and media engagement. You will need to create and coordinate content, write for various audience types, adjusting the communications strategy accordingly to meet business objectives.
What does the role look like?
- Execute communication focused activities such as delivery of an active reactive and proactive press office, executing large-scale consumer campaigns and partnering with relevant stakeholders to build integrated communications programs
- Plan and execute ALDI’s communications strategy through relevant channels, ensuring it is implemented correctly through key opportunities
- Develop and implement tools, channels and initiatives to drive customer brand communications, understand the different audience types and how to write for each
- Drive influencer and social media engagement
- Deliver brand activations
- Build relationships, engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Provide analysis on key metrics, identify trends and use data to create reports demonstrating the effectiveness of tactics.
- Previous experience, PR agency or in-house communications coordinator or similar.
- Experience in media relations and brand story telling
- Demonstrated ability to manage and write content for communications channels
- A creative eye and strategic mind to develop engaging external communications initiatives
- Ability to adapt content strategy to varied audiences
- Strong communicator both verbal and written
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances at short notice and meet ongoing deadlines.

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $96,800 - $107,600 including super
