Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Digital Marketing Assistant within the National Marketing Team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position.

You will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in maintaining and developing successful digital marketing activities run through a variety of channels, including but not limited to, Website, EDM, Paid Media, SEO.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be a digital marketing professional with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to successfully execute various digital campaigns. This role will involve oversight of ALDI’s owned channels (including content and assets), analytics and activity across paid channels.

What does the role look like? 

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of digital projects within deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure digital alignment with business initiatives
  • Develop and maintain effective content and assets for all digital platforms including the ALDI Australia website
  • Support the manager in driving overall digital marketing performance
  • Overseeing briefing and approvals of weekly EDM sends
  • Review campaign success through digital analytics
  • Track project goals and identify risks in collaboration with the Manager
  • Manage the efficient and accurate flow of correspondence and information


What do we need from you?

  • 3 + years’ experience within a digital marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, EDMs and website management
  • Experience briefing and liaising with digital and creative agencies
  • Strong experience aligning marketing strategy and assets to digital platforms
  • Ability to analyse data sets, using findings/insights to help drive overall performance  
  • Previous experience with Adobe Suite and MS Office
  • Ability to scope, plan and complete tasks both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational skills with a process driven mindset
  • Ability to deliver high quality work within project deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly present ideas and results
