About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an Executive Manager has become available within the Produce team of our National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.

The Produce team are responsible for sourcing and selecting a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure quality, value, and availability for customers. They also manage supplier relationships and monitor market trends to maintain competitive pricing and product standards.

What does the role look?

  • Lead a team and actively support their skill enhancement and career growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product tender process, managing key project milestones on the critical path, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining the product catalogue.
  • Weekly cost and supply negotiations with business partners.
  • Lead a portfolio of BAU and ad-hoc projects within the Produce Team.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple departments and levels.
  • Support the Buying Director with tasks as required including negotiation of fixed tender costs, recommendation on product selection, specifications, market and competitor analysis, reporting and relevant price recommendations.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $159,000 - $208,800 including Superannuation
