About the Role

A fantastic opportunity to join our Safety and Services team as an Executive Manager has become available, based in Brendale, QLD. This is a permanent full-time position.

The Executive Manager- Safety and Services will utilise their strong leadership skills and their passion and knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) to support and lead a team of talented WHS professionals within the Brendale region.

What does the role involve?

  • Provide leadership and development of a team of Safety and Injury Management professionals
  • Provide advice and strategic safety leadership to internal and external parties on WHS & Injury Management matters, policies and procedures to minimise work related hazards, incidents and accidents
  • Work collaboratively with the National Safety team to assist in the design, planning and development of the National WHS strategy
  • Support the implementation of all internal controls, policies, procedures and guidelines ensuring standardisation and consistency across the business
  • Provide reporting on trends, costs, duration and other key performance indicators to the business
  • Participate in audits and inspections to monitor compliance

What do we need from you

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as an Executive Manager – Store Operations or Executive Manager- Warehouse Operations highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering WHS and Injury Management policies, guidelines and procedures
  • End-to end Project Management experience with overseeing projects from conception to implementation
  • A proactive seeker of feedback who fosters personal and team growth through reflection and continuous improvement
  • A clear, impactful communicator who informs, inspires, motivates and influences others to drive team success
  • An inclusive collaborator who actively consults, resolves conflict as it arises and appreciates alternative perspectives and opinions
