Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Specialist to join the HR Systems Administration team has become available within the National IT department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is an 18-month fixed term contract.

As a HR Systems Specialist, your primary objective is to ensure our HR systems are optimally supporting our business at all times.  Along with providing day to day support, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the development, deployment and ongoing support of National IT & HR initiatives.

What does the role look like?  

  • Provide Level 2+ support and perform root cause analysis for HR specific suite of applications using ServiceNOW ticketing system
  • Develop and maintain system documentation including system change request register and administrator reference guides
  • Collaborate with the business to identify and implement system enhancements and improvements
  • Support key stakeholders by and facilitating the system aspects of their projects
  • Work closely with vendors to raise tickets, negotiate changes and conduct thorough testing, ensuring seamless integration of requested alternations
  • Coordinate and support system upgrades including end to end regression testing and UAT management
  • Deliver training and support for relevant business users on any new features.
  • Collaborate with other internal National and International IT departments in support of your applications requirements
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and providers

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience in end-to-end application support, specifically for HR Systems including learning, performance, safety and recruitment systems.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Genuine career interest in HR Systems and HR Processes
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and providers
  • Able to work flexibly and comfortable attending Microsoft Teams video calls outside of standard business hours

This role reports into the Executive Manager - IT.

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and experience.
