Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as an IT Specialist within our National IT team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a fixed term contract position until March 2025.

Our IT Country Deployment Management Office (CDMO) are responsible for leading ALDI’s digital transformation. As part of this team, you will ensure supply chain activities such as forecast and order proposals flow seamlessly through the SAP platforms into stores.

What does the role look like? 

  • Driving the S4 HANA support process and ensuring compliance of project standards and deliverables
  • Analysis, monitoring and diagnosis of system message and storage issues
  • Involvement in change management, incident management, problem management as per ITIL framework
  • Reviewing and providing recommendations on system message and storage designs
  • Managing users and roles in SAP HANA system
  • Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques such as data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory
  • Responsible for the technical go-live activities for the Supply Chain scope in collaboration with multiple internal teams
  • Provide guidance and expertise on country specifics within the Supply Chain scope

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a dedicated SAP role, investigating and resolving SAP production problems in a technical business environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or relevant discipline
  • A general knowledge and experience of SAP S/4 Hana, especially MM, SD, F&R, ABAP, SAP Basis, integration, workflow, FIORI and RFC.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to work flexibly and comfortable attending MS teams video calls outside of standard business hours with our international business (US, UK, Austria, and Germany)
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required
