Our National Buying department is seeking an Office Assistant to join the Produce Buying team of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury NSW. This position is for a 12-month fixed term contract.
As an Office Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to the Produce team, liaising and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the business to ensure the delivery of high-quality produce for our consumers.
What does the role look like?
- Draft, submit and maintain relevant documentation
- Generate relevant reports as required
- Manage and coordinate product samples for weekly sampling
- Perform product related artwork checks
- Complete competition and catalogue checks as directed
- Prepare weekly reporting pack for team
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide administrative support such as diary management, coordinating and scheduling meetings, organising travel arrangements and submitting courier request forms
What do we need from you?
- Minimum 2+ years experience in an administrative role
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Core Range buying process
- Experience in APP & AHEAD processes
- Demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take on responsibility, work autonomously and be a team player
- Strong attention to detail
