About the Role

Grow your career with a global retailer as an Office Assistant within our Buying team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position.

In this pivotal role, you will join a team that is at the heart of what makes ALDI unique: our products. As part of the Buying team, you will be involved in the journey of our products, from conception to our store shelves.

What does the role look like? 

  • Support the centralisation of supplier data and the implementation of new systems and applications
  • Maintain process alignment with international counterparts
  • Maintain and manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders for new requests and enquiries
  • Assess requests and direct to the relevant teams
  • Update and maintain supplier master data
  • Provide relevant feedback and outcomes to respective stakeholders
  • Handle and solve complaints accordingly
  • Develop and maintain reports and documentation
  • Maintain data quality by ensuring accurate input of information
  • Assist and support the wider team with general administrative support and ongoing projects as required

What do we need from you

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on data quality
  • Intermediate Microsoft office proficiency, particularly in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SAP and Ariba highly regarded
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs and processes
  • High level of professionalism and dedication
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
