An exciting opportunity for as a Payroll Officer has become available within our National Payroll team based in Minchinbury, NSW. This is a permanent full-time position.
This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Payroll department. You will see yourself managing the end-to-end payroll process for our National division across Australia with a strong focus on compliance.
What does the role look like?
- Accurate delivery of monthly payroll for 1700+ employees
- Calculation and processing of payroll related payments for PAYG tax, authorised payroll deductions, superannuation, parental leave, GPPL, LSL payments and manual payments
- Set up of new starters, maintain employee records, processing contract changes and calculation of terminations accurately
- Ensure the payroll team respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in an accurate and customer centric manner within agreed timeframes
- Provide advice regarding NES, Fair Work, and any other relevant payroll legislation (including ALDI internal policies)

- Demonstrated payroll experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of interpreting relevant payroll legislation
- Previous experience in iChris/Chris21 is highly regarded but not essential
- Exceptional attention to detail and great time management skills
- Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $96, 800 - $107, 600 including Superannuation.
