About the Role

Several exciting opportunities for Pricing Assistants have become available in the Pricing department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. These are 12-month fixed term contract positions.

As a Pricing Assistant you will collaboratively assist in the execution of ALDI’s overall pricing strategy through the delivery of projects, operational support and stakeholder collaboration.  

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide exceptional administrative and coordination support to the commercial team 
  • Conduct data quality checks and generate reports to provide key metrics and insights 
  • Update and maintain pricing databases and systems 
  • Generate Retail Change Proposals in pricing tool and analyse results 
  • Identify pricing trends to drive continuous improvement  
  • Utilise strong organisational skills to adhere to deadlines and forward plan 
  • Engage with stakeholders and advise on pricing related topics and projects  
  • Monitor pricing performance weekly and communicate updates.

What do we need from you

  • Proven experience in project management/coordination is advantageous 
  • Adept reporting and data analysis experience  
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel  
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships 
  • Demonstrated experience in a pricing/commercial role, preferably in FMCG/Retail is highly advantageous  
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities 
  • Exposure to SAP and Tableau is beneficial.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $96,800 - $107,600 including super
