Job Description

Our National Real Estate department is seeking 2 x Procurement Specialists to join the National Procurement team of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a permanent full-time position.

In this role you will be responsible for the efficient end-to-end procurement of corporate services across ALDI, with a focus on enhancing our Fixed Assets and Construction categories. The ideal candidate will thrive within a fast-paced corporate environment, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders across multiple departments and projects to secure and manage high-quality commercial agreements.

What does the role involve?

  • Lead end-to-end procurement process including planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier lifecycle process
  • Manage contract performance to drive our suppliers to meet contracted SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Apply sound project administration skills to manage timelines, priorities, milestones, issues and risks
  • Help shape strategies within Fixed Assets (HVAC & Fire Services) or Construction/Property Consulting categories 
  • Lead budget estimations, sourcing operations, review purchase bids and negotiate with suppliers
  • Conduct spend analysis, review supplier data, analyse market trends, identify industry benchmarks and prepare reports to influence decision making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of agreed processes
  • Assist the Executive Manager with presentations and projects as required

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Background in Procurement, Property, Construction or Facilities Maintenance preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management or Coordination desired
  • Demonstrated experience in Contract & Category Management desired
  • Knowledge of Fixed Assets (HVAC & Fire Services) or Commercial Construction trends and best practices highly regarded
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Acute attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects

This role reports into the Executive Manager - Procurement.

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and experience.
