About the Role
An opportunity for a Projects Specialist has become available in the Warehouse Operations (Projects) team at ALDI stores. This will be based in either our Brendale or Stapylton region. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
The Warehouse Operations Projects team manage new initiatives and projects for our regional distribution center’s nationwide in an agile manner. The National Warehouse Operations Committee (NWOC) is committed to maintaining a ALDI Lean approach to projects where continuous improvement is driven by operations itself.
What does the role involve?
Collaborate with internal departments and various stakeholders to manage, support and deliver various projects for our Warehouse Operations department
Apply project management frameworks to implement nationally aligned processes into warehouses
Prepare, research, and collect information relevant to assigned projects
Identify improvement opportunities and provide data insights and recommendations to improve business efficiency
Prepare reports, presentations and other documents required
Manage the efficient and accurate flow of correspondence, with external and internal stakeholders
Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and third-party providers
Support the Executive Manager in a professional and efficient manner
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Strong Warehouse Operations and Safety experience
Demonstrated project coordination and/or project support experience with the successful delivery of projects from concept to implementation
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative problem-solver, with the ability to take an analytical approach
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of ALDI safety systems and standards
