About the Role

An exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master has become available within our National Data Analytics (NDA) department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position. 

This pivotal role will see you immersing yourself in the captivating world of data at ALDI, a place where every number tells a story. As a part of our Data Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in using data-driven methods to transform vast amounts of raw data into valuable insights that guide our decision-making.

From machine learning to statistical modelling, you'll employ advanced techniques to dissect and understand complex data sets. And it's not just about analysis - it's about communication too. Through data visualisation, you'll transform intricate data into a form that's easily understandable, enabling informed decision-making across various sectors of our business.

What does the role look like?

  • Act as the principal point of contact for National Data Analytics, overseeing use case evaluation and prioritisation while collaborating with stakeholders to align project scopes with business needs, mentoring junior team members, and presenting to senior management as required.
  • Drive the rollout and adoption of Data & Analytics products, through strong technical and financial oversight to optimise resource allocation against financial portfolio targets. 
  • Collaborate with the International Data Analytics team on governance frameworks, formulating and advocating for strategic recommendations to facilitate local rollout and transition initiatives as necessary.
  • Translate technical specifications and requirements into demands, products, governance, frameworks, sprints and broader deliverables to rollout in partnership with non-technical senior management audiences.

What do we need from you

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrated experience communicating, collaborating and presenting to senior management stakeholders
  • Experience in applying agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, and conducting daily stand-ups
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to relevant business stakeholders
  • Ability to manage conflicting viewpoints and make strategic recommendations based on data analysis in a respectable manner
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to optimise data & analytics use cases against financial and strategic targets
  • Ability to mentor junior members of the team in portfolio management, serving as 2IC to the Senior Executive Manager where needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $159,800 - $191,500 including Superannuation
