About the Role
An exciting opportunity in the Use Cases team has become available within our National Data and Analytics (NDA) department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.
As a Senior Analyst specialising in data modelling, you will specialise in the development of national use cases and data models. You will leverage data analysis for actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and proficiently conduct A/B tests to optimise product or service implementations.
- Initiate discussions and generate ideas for national data & analytics use cases, and work to prioritise each use case by detailing the use case potential and considerations
- Act as the primary lead in use case documentation, including coordinating and quality checking team member's contributions, to ensure the team's use case documentation is of high quality and clearly articulates the project scope and outcomes
- Using A/B testing expertise and/or data analytical capabilities in Python, SQL and Databricks to drive and complete use cases, providing strategic and actionable recommendations.
- Drive the product vision and strategy for analytics solutions, utilising Agile methodologies
- Be a primary initiator and point of contact with stakeholders, and drive discussions to identify use cases and make recommendations based on organisational goals and strategic priorities

What do we need from you
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercialisation of data & analytics
- Support strategic decision making and drive profitability, leveraging your expertise in retail buying, category development processes & analytics and pricing.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaborating with business leaders and data teams to define requirements, align insights with strategic goals, and drive data-driven decision-making
- Advanced coding skills in SQL & Python

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $159, 800 - $191, 500 including superannuation
