Grow your career with a global retailer as an IT Technician within our National IT Shared Services team at ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

As a Shared Services Technician, you will keep your stakeholders engaged and your practical approach to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. In this role, you will work together in a fast-paced environment so you will need to be comfortable with change, and capable of adapting to any problem at any time.

What does the role look like?
- Providing support to end-users for standard hardware and software, including mobile platforms to effectively resolve customer issues
- Documenting processes and information on resolving issues
- Identifying opportunities for increasing the knowledge base
- Supporting the development, deployment and coordination of national IT and business initiatives
- Coordinating external IT consultants to ensure they are effectively utilised
- Ensuring appropriate systems are in place to maintain data integrity and security
- Establishing a comprehensive overview of the national and international ALDI programmes and their inter-relationships
What do we need from you?
- Systematic, innovative approach to IT
- Prior experience in Support Desk desirable
- Prior experience in ServiceNow and/or Ariba desirable
- Ability to work within a team environment or independently
- High attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Aptitude to manage and prioritise tasks
- Ability to leverage prior learning to troubleshoot issues
- Demonstrated high level of numeracy and accuracy
