Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Team Leader - Buying within our National Business Coordination team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a fixed term contract position until May 2025. 

The successful candidate will lead data support team members within the firefighter team who are committed to driving the responsiveness of data quality solutions, maintaining our service commitments and engaging stakeholders in an end-to-end capacity.

What does the role look like? 

  • Lead, coach and support the data support team members to reach their full potential and ensure key objectives and deliverables are met
  • Oversee and manage day to day Buying data support operations while offering input and advice to improve Buying master data processes
  • Develop and optimise processes and minimise time to solve master data tickets
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to gatekeep and triage optimal solutioning, discuss performance and address operational issues
  • Review Buying guidelines and processes, ensuring they are up to date and implement action plans and process improvements for master data
  • Maintain a complete understanding of systems and processes within Buying and affected areas.
  • Analyse data to assist with forecasting, creating plans and addressing operational issues
  • Work on projects with the NBC and wider business as a technical lead with a comprehensive view of systems, data and migrations
  • Contributing to Buying initiatives

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • Previous SAP experience highly regarded
  • Ability to engage internal stakeholders, building professional relationships
  • Excellent organisation to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team under limited supervision, prioritising tasks, following through to completion
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite associated Buying systems
  • Proven experience with SNOW, JIRA or similar ticketing systems is highly regarded
  • Analytical approach with the ability to reason logically especially during high pressure situations
