Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Team Leader within our National Supply Chain Management team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a Fixed term contract position until 30th June 2025 reporting to (Executive Manager- National Supply Chain).

As part of the National Supply Chain Management team, your remit extends beyond day-to-day operations. You'll shape our future by developing and implementing robust supply chain strategies, refining processes and systems, and exploring opportunities to reduce costs and risks. Your pursuit of efficiency, effectiveness, and product availability will ensure ALDI's products and services reach our customers in a timely and cost-effective manner, maintaining our competitive edge.

What does the role look like? 

  • Lead, coach and support a team of supply chain coordinators to reach their full potential
  • Oversee and manage day to day Supply Chain operations while offering input and advice to improve Supply Chain processes
  • Develop and optimise inventory levels with the goal of improving ordering accuracy and minimising out of stock products
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to forecast demand, create supply chain plans, discuss performance and address operational issues
  • Review Supply Chain Management guidelines and processes, ensuring they are up to date and implement action plans and process improvements
  • Analyse data to assist with forecasting demand, creating supply chain plans and address operational issues
     

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience required
  • Previous supply chain, replenishment and planning experience highly regarded
  • Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, building professional relationships
  • Excellent organisation to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team under limited supervision, prioritising tasks, following through to completion
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical approach with the ability to reason logically especially during high pressure situations
