About the Role

Contribute to ALDI's growth as a Transport Planner within the Transport Management team of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planner to join our team on a part-time basis, across weekends. This role offers the chance to contribute to the successful movement of our transport vehicles across the nation while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Utilise SAP TM and associated applications to carry out orders.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective planning and execution.
  • Ensure efficient flow of incoming and outgoing stakeholder correspondence and information.
  • Monitor and respond to any changes, issues, and queries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve changes and/or problems to ensure smooth execution of transport plans.
  • Analyse discrepancies and develop solutions to minimise operational and financial impact.

What do we need from you

  • Demonstrated experience within Transport and Logistics operations. 
  • Understanding of different vehicle types (i.e. B-doubles or rigid vehicles).
  • Experience with SAP TM highly regarded.
  • Ability to problem solve and present productive solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Be available to work between 9:00am - 6:30pm.

* Includes superannuation. PART-TIME PRO RATA. Remuneration increases are incremental over a 4 -year service period.
