About the Role

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Value Chain Analyst within our Value Chain Optimisation at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Value Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for driving strategy through data to optimise the value chain. You will also be accountable for designing and implementing tools in order to support and achieve team objectives.

What does the role look like? 

  • Design and implement tools to support strategic value chain optimisation initiatives
  • Organise, manipulate and analyse complex data sets across product categories
  • Extract and interpret data patterns in order to translate findings into actionable outcomes
  • Triangulate data to validate and support value chain project activities
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to effectively communicate business insights
  • Present tools, insights and proposals to all business levels including senior leadership
  • Embed initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement and training facilitation
  • Utilise internal and external data to maximise impact
  • Support project leads with ad hoc reporting

What do we need from you

 

  • Tertiary qualifications within a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within an analytics background (ideally within FMCG)
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and understanding of project management principles
  • Strong competency within SAP, SQL and Database integration highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing tools and programs
  • Experience organising, manipulating and analysing complex data sets using Alteryx
  • Experience in the use of Tableau for data visualisation
  • Experience MS Office suite
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to both an autonomous and collaborative working environment
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
