Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Buying Administration Assistant within our National Buying department at ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position.

In this role, you will provide exceptional administrative support to the wider buying teams and contribute to what makes ALDI unique: our products. As part of the Buying team you’ll make a real impact on the shopping experience of our customers, helping us continue to offer quality products at unbeatable prices.

What does the role look like? 

  • Supporting the Director - Buying Administration in a professional and efficient manner
  • Providing support with financial reports and analytics both ad hoc and constant deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Sourcing relevant information in areas of responsibility
  • Liaise with external service providers as required
  • Liaise with internal customers and provide support to the National Buying Department

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Minimum 2+ years administrative experience in a large corporate organisation
  • Background in Finance, Accounting or Legal Services highly regarded
  • Strong proficiency with Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Great time management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Solution oriented with the ability to problem solve and present ideas

This role reports into the Director - Buying Administration

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and experience.
