Job Description

Grow your career with a global retailer as an Executive Manager within our National Supply Chain Management team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Director - Supply Chain Management.

As part of the National Supply Chain Management team, your remit extends beyond day-to-day operations. You'll shape our future by developing and implementing robust supply chain strategies, refining processes and systems, and exploring opportunities to reduce costs and risks. Your pursuit of efficiency, effectiveness, and product availability will ensure ALDI's products and services reach our customers in a timely and cost-effective manner, maintaining our competitive edge.

What does the role look like? 

  • Lead and mentor a high performing team
  • Oversee and support collaboration with internal and external ALDI stakeholders to ensure project delivery and ongoing business efficiency
  • Manage all aspects of the international freight costings team, working with ALDI’s national buying department, and multiple external business partners
  • Establish, develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships across multiple levels
  • Provide relevant training as required
  • Turn insights into compelling narratives and executive presentations using visualisation and communication skills
  • Facilitate the coordination of end-to-end Supply Chain processes from concept, design and facilitation
  • Be available to support the Supply Chain Management operational teams as required

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Experience in leading a high performing operations or planning focused team is essential
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics or retail is essential particularly involving international freight movements and incoterms
  • Strong competency in MS Office is essential, particularly in Excel
  • High capability in problem solving and strategic solutions
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with an ability to explain findings in commercial terms
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
  • Strong ability to effectively manage change
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a supply chain or logistics is highly regarded
