Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Executive Manager to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the FP&A Director, the role is responsible for performance reporting, managing the budgeting & forecasting processes, long-range financial planning and providing meaningful insights on trends and key drivers to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail oriented professional with exceptional commercial financial acumen, strategic thinking and leadership skills.

What does the role look like?

  • Management of financial forecasting, including the provision of insights, trends and key drivers to enhance business performance
  • Identifying opportunities for increasing the financial performance of the organization
  • Partnering with stakeholders around financial strategy and annual budget for the organisation
  • Reporting and analysis of actuals against budgets and forecasts, providing in-depth insights into performance
  • Preparation of regular senior management reporting packs, including analysis of significant developments
  • Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by the business
  • Liaising with international finance teams
  • Leading and mentoring a team

Qualifications

What do we need from you?

  • Degree and CA/CPA qualified desirable
  • Have previous leadership experience in a large complex commercial organisation
  • Strong reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience and confidence in working with senior leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An individual with a positive, inclusive and collaborative approach to work
  • SAP experience is highly desirable
